Summer School for Academic Coaching and Retesting

Summer school is available at each school in the system. Every effort is made to provide students the opportunity to remediate and recover courses or grade level work, enabling each student to continue a successful educational program.

Elementary and middle school summer school will be scheduled for June 2010 and will begin after the last teacher work day. Dates will be posted as soon as they are developed. 

High School summer school is available for students who need academic coaching and remediation in the End of Course tests and the 10th Grade Writing test. Summer sessions will begin after the last teacher work day. Dates will be posted as soon as they are developed.

Kindergarten Camp and Sixth Grade Academy

Summer academies have proven successful in providing a smoother transition for students as they move into Kindergarten or onto middle school. Kindergarten Camp is available at each elementary school. Sixth Grade Academies are available at both Brevard Middle School and Rosman Middle School.  All programs are scheduled for August.
